Our legacy began nearly 100 years ago when the Geurkink family founded the company and began to sell eggs, fruits, vegetables, sugar, and other food commodities. Over the course of time, the product mix changed and the Geurkinks made the decision to focus their efforts on one primary product: eggs. Since its inception, we have been owned by three different local families - the Geurkinks, the Kiels, and the Hubers.

Herman Hubers began working for Pease Produce during the Great Depression of the 1930s and eventually worked his up the ladder to general manager by 1940. He served in that capacity until 1956 when he and his brother Bill purchased the company.

Herman's son, Steve Hubers, co-owned the company from 1979 until 2016, when his son-in-law, Ryan Manke, then took over. Ryan is the current owner of Pease Produce. 

Throughout the years, our business has been built on honesty, integrity, dedicated customer service and providing quality products to our valued customers at a competitive price. These basic principles will continue to be our focus and our guide as we move forward with our present base of loyal customers and as we strive to develop new relationships in the marketplace!
